The Great Western Canon: Classical Literature 101
September 3 – December 17, 2025
Join other students in the discovery of the foundations of the Western Canon. The stories told by the Greeks and Romans have echoed throughout time and have long been considered important first steps along the path toward Christianity. Even though the early Greeks and Romans lived before the Incarnation of Christ, they sought truth and asked important questions about justice, virtue, and human nature.
Required Texts for 101: Homer’s Iliad and Odyssey (any translation) and other ancient literature selections.
