Mrs. Simmerer (B.A. Marquette University) homeschooled her own seven children. They have gone on to higher education, the military, and discernment for the priesthood. She has taught in and been part of the administration of a start-up academy, a private school, a homeschool co-op, and a soccer club for homeschoolers. Lucy has lived in Spain and Germany and has traveled to many European countries as well as to Brazil, Colombia, and Iraq.
