Latin 102
Dates: January 7 – May 9, 2025
This course will meet live twice weekly to learn Latin based on the traditional Latin Mass and the New Testament. The goal of this course is for students to gain greater comprehension of the Latin text of Holy Mass in order to pray more fervently and understand the truth of the Catholic doctrines contained therein.
This course follows Latin 101 offered in the fall semester. This course requires Latin 101 or previous knowledge of Latin.
Class on Tuesday will be directed toward students still beginning their study of Latin. Class on Thursday will be directed to more advanced students. Students are invited to attend both days to supplement their learning.
Grading is pass/fail. Students who attend classes or watch the live recordings will receive a passing grade.
