Emily Golec was born in Worcester, MA and raised in both Massachusetts and Connecticut. She is a cradle Catholic that started to learn more about her faith in a deeper way in college with the help of FOCUS Missionaries. Emily studied at the University of Connecticut and has worked in the mental health field, campus and parish ministry, and administrative assistant work. Emily took first promises with Apostoli Viae this summer after being a sojourner for 2 years. She recently moved to Montgomery Alabama and is working for the Avila Foundation as an administrative assistant. She enjoys going on walks, laughing with friends, and singing while she drives in her car.
