Bernhard Streisselberger

Bernhard Streisselberger, Mag.pth., MTh., is a native of Neuhofen/Ybbs, Austria, and the founder of Thresh Mountains Coaching & Consulting, where he specializes in human formation and safeguarding for Catholics. He holds a Master of Psychotherapy Science from Sigmund Freud University Vienna, with clinical specialization in Gestalt therapy and trauma therapy (EMDR), as well as a Master of Theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville. From 2016 to 2020, Bernhard lived in a Cistercian monastery, where he was formed as a Catholic monk and served as a psychological assistant to an exorcist—an experience that profoundly deepened his conviction that emotional maturity and interior freedom are the foundation of all authentic ministry. Bernhard and his wife Anna share the mutual mission of “thresh mountains,” reflecting the meaning of their Austrian last name, Streisselberger. Isaiah 41:15 speaks about threshing the mountains: cutting through seemingly impossible obstacles to make a way for the glory of the Lord. Learn more at threshmountains.com.
