Latin 101

This course will meet live twice weekly to learn Latin based on the traditional Latin Mass and the New Testament. It is designed to accommodate students at all levels of Latin. The goal of this course is for students to gain greater comprehension of the Latin text of Holy Mass in order to pray more fervently and understand the truth of the Catholic doctrines contained therein.

This course will be followed by Latin 102 in the spring semester.

Grading is pass/fail. Students who attend classes or watch the live recordings will receive a passing grade.

2. Latin-English Holy Bible (online or print)
3. Latin-English Missal (online or pre-1955 or 1962)
